12/2/2023 0 Comments 24 hour laundromat st paul mnI also asked if they needed our car's plate number and they said no, only to find out later that some people had been given parking tags to hang from the mirror. That was nice, but only later noticed wrist bands in the packet that had not been explained. Check in was mixed - I was about an hour early but the room was ready, and the check in process was about 30 seconds. Grounds themselves were clean and inviting - lots of fire and water features, and we immediately noticed the campfire smoke smell from the on-site sauna when we stepped out of the car (I mean that in a good way). Newer property (2016 or so?), ample parking, most everything still looking in good repair. Everything was painless and I got email confirmations, as well as an email reminder a couple days in advance. I originally booked online but later switched to a different room type by calling the front desk. Was in town for a festival at Bayfront so wanted to be near the action - originally booked on Canal Park but switched to Pier B when some rooms opened up, and all of us were happy with that decision. All five us have stayed in many places in Duluth but never here - unanimous opinion is 10/10 and all would go back. Stayed Fri 28-Sun 30 with daughter and SIL sharing a King Bed Harbor View with Pull Out room, and a couple friends in another room down the hall (4th floor, great views!). We were extremely happy with our stay and will return.… Bummer because it would have been handy to eat at the hotel and the menu looked appealing. But by that time, we had made reservations elsewhere. However, we saw many people walking in every day to inquire about tables and there was space. I was told there were no openings at all-for our entire 3 night stay. I called the first evening and asked for a reservation for our family. So soft and comfortable!! The only complaint I have is the restaurant. The first morning we woke up I had to find a tag so I could order the sheets to have at home. The sheets were one of my favorite parts of the stay. All of these were free to use and a lot of fun. The recreational amenities are fun! We used the pedal go-karts, pickle ball courts, and the water bikes. Not bad walking distance to the canal park area, and the hotel also has a shuttle, though we didn’t use it. We had a harbor view room and it was beautiful. You can’t help but feel relaxed in this beautiful space. The large hot tub, fire pits, s’mores supplies, the blankets set out for you to use on chilly evenings…every detail has been thought of. The beautiful gathering area with tons of seating out back is fantastic. This hotel is a wonderful place to relax.
